From us
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the work we carry out comes with a workmanship warranty of at least 5 years. It covers our workmanship: how the job was done. It does not cover the materials themselves, which carry their own manufacturer warranties (see below).
Your written quote is where the warranty for your job is set out. If a different period or condition applies to your job, it will be stated there in writing, so please read it and ask us about anything that is unclear before you go ahead.
From the manufacturer
Steel roofing products carry their own warranties, given by the manufacturer, not by us. These are separate from our workmanship warranty.
- BlueScope Steel / COLORBOND® steel: warranties of up to 35 years.
- COLORBOND® Ultra steel: warranties of up to 39 years, where applicable.
“Up to” is the maximum, not a promise for every roof. Whether a product warranty applies, and for how long, depends on the site location and its environmental exposure, such as how close the property is to the coast. Not every installation qualifies. We confirm the product and grade that suit your address before we order, and we can tell you what the manufacturer's terms say for your site.
